Beginning with her years of clinical training and practice as a Speech Pathologist, Bev became a student of relationships. Eventually, she began to train as a professional counselor at Denver Seminary and later completed her M.A. in counseling at the University of Northern Colorado.
Insightful, compassionate, direct, and practical are all terms that describe Bev’s approach to counseling. Her counseling is not formulaic or “one size fits all”. Bev believes that “crisis points” can become “turning points” for individuals and marriages. This happens when individuals enter an intentional growth process. Bev is exceptional in meeting people at these turning points and helping them to map a personalized and thoughtful growth process. Her ability to skillfully guide, confront, and equip -- assists individuals and couples to overcome obstacles to growth and to unleash the potential in each individual and relationship.
