The mission and vision of the Redimere Group arises out of the shaping events of my own personal story.
My ministry career began over 30 years ago with my experience as a pastor in the inner city of Philadelphia. It was there that God focused my interest on the question, “How do people really change?”
This question inspired what has become a primary pursuit of my life and ministry. I completed a Ph.D. at Western Seminary in Portland Oregon in order to do advanced study on this question from both a Biblical and psychological perspective.
My dissertation researched the non-academic factors which might predict success for faith-based leaders in their ministry settings. I continued to study transformational processes in my post-doctoral work with faith based leaders at the Minirth-Meier Clinic and as Assistant Director of Counseling Services at Dallas Theological Seminary.
My experiences at these two organizations deepened my passion and increased my focus on the questions of how leaders develop, what problems emerge that block leadership effectiveness and a beginning understanding of the stages that leaders must progress through.
My passion for these questions has continued for almost 25 years and is reflected in my experience as Executive Director of Leadership Development for Life Enrichment, an organization that focused on ministering to leaders in crisis.
I co-founded The Pharos Group, an organization that focused on developing faith-based leaders and their organizations.
I currently serve as adjunct faculty teaching in the area of leadership and organizational development in doctoral programs at Denver Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
In 2005 I founded The Redimere Group with the purpose of continuing to develop our understanding of transformational processes and to strengthen, equip, and unleash faith based leaders for God’s kingdom.
It has been my privilege to work with hundreds of leaders from across the country and around the world.
